In memorium

The morning began as it always did at the Never
Ends Farm. Horses are turned out, fed, hay is
spread.. and it looked like it'd be another 'scorcher'.

No one saw it coming.. and when the realization hit
that something was wrong, it was too late. A horse
had broken out of her paddock and attacked Nick,
striking him in the back leg as his back was
turned... breaking it.

The Farm, like any place that takes in and cares for
animals, has experienced loss before, but Nick.. he
was something special. He will be missed. He will
forever be in the hearts of those that loved him.. and
he loved.

He taught riders all he knew, tested them, and
helped bring them to the ribbons at shows. He
wasn't an angel, but he was one of those that was
easily forgiven.
